Transgenerational Developmental Effects of Immune Priming in the Red Flour Beetle Tribolium castaneum

Abstract: Immune priming, the increased chance to survive a secondary encounter with a pathogen, has been described for many invertebrate species, which lack the classical adaptive immune system of vertebrates.
