Transgender Inclusion in Online Job Application Forms at Forbes 450 Largest Companies

Abstract: The researchers applied for jobs at U.S. public and private businesses (N = 450), collecting computer screenshots of gender options. Results showed three firms offered transgender options, 12 had a third gender option, and 92 avoided the gender question completely. Ten organizations required applicants to select male or female.
