Abstract:Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (AIHA) is characterized by an increased destruction of red blood cells due to immune dysfunction and auto‐antibody production. Clinical manifestations are mainly related to anaemia, which can become life‐threatening in case of acute haemolysis.
