Abstract: Quaternary chalcogenide copper zinc tin sulfide (CZTS) nanoparticles are used to make the p-type absorber layer in CZTS solar cells, which are considered more benign alternatives to those based on cadmium telluride (CdTe) and less expensive than copper indium gallium selenide.
