“…Transformational leadership has been considered to be critical in improving team performance (AbuAlRub & Nasrallah 2017). In our study nurses perceived their unit managers’ transformational leadership mean level as high (8.13 out of 10), which is supported by the study by Sun (2014) (4.25 out of 5, p. 42) but is higher than the results illustrated by AbuAlRub & Nasrallah (2017) (5.40 out of 10, p. 523) in Jordanian nurses. The main reason for this high level of TL could be the increase in leadership training programmes in recent years in Zhejiang province where the economy is relatively high in China due to its prosperous international business.…”
