Various classifications of generations associated with historical and physical time are considered. It is shown that the culturological connection of modern Russian generations has a cyclical nature and can be investigated both at the macrolevel from the standpoint of economic sociology, and at the microlevel from the standpoint of economic psychology. The idea is substantiated that the sociodesign of the generation continuity is associated with mental attitudes and life-meaning values that are accepted and shared by different generations. In the pilot study, students and their parents' meaningful values have been determined. Based on the analysis of a number of studies, some trends in forming the values of generation Z and recommendations for teaching generation Z in modern cultural and historical conditions have been identified.

Scientific product: solving the problem of assessing the science efficiency

The aim of the article is to identify limitations in the created and constantly changing approach to assessing the science eficiency, based on ratings and points given to a researcher, with a logical justification for a different approach, which is reduced to creating “a scientific product”. The problem of measuring the science effectiveness and evaluating scientific results is certainly broader, and it is connected with the existing system of statistical accounting, namely data that do not allow people, for example, to reliably estimate even the “knowledge economy” size as a sector or a highly productive workplace, as the level of manufacturability. If the methods for measuring these parameters are extremely imperfect, then in relation to science and scientific activity, the situation looks even more ambiguous, since the type of activity itself is extremely heterogeneous, and the so-called breakthrough results appear discretely, moreover, often even unexpectedly for the scholars themselves. The research methodology is presented by comparative analysis, approaches from the general theory of economic measurements. The main result comes down to the fact that, in the current mode, the researcher’s activity cannot be assessed by some points scored, but, in the author's opinion, it should be measured by the result of what scientific product is created by the researcher, taking into account weighting coefficients for scientific work experience and current contribution in accordance with the carried out researches. A scientific product is the content of scientific achievements; it suggests assessing the scientist's work at a high salary, reflecting the qualifications and work experience, as well as evaluating the current contribution. The system of remuneration for a scientist should be simple and understandable, fundamental science should become a part of the public sector of Russia, for which the tariff and qualification scale in terms of organizing remuneration is quite applicable. The main task of science is to develop its own apparatus of cognition and to solve urgent problems by scientific methods, as the necessity for settling them is high. To this end, it will be necessary to strengthen the position of the RAS, placing it within the framework of the public sector together with its institutes, restoring the coordinating function of the RAS governing bodies.

Education marketing and the problem of educational services: a review of domestic and foreign studies

The aim of the research is to analyze the concept of “an educational service” in the context of modern research marketing education. The research method is a theoretical analysis of approaches to understanding the concept of “an educational service” in the context of modern marketing research. The greatest attention to the problem of consumption in the education is given in marketing researches. The study range of “educational services” in marketing is quite wide, however, such problems as consumer behaviour and other private issues are considered with a disproportionately low interest, especially abroad. There is especially little research in the context of the ergonomic support of marketing research. At the same time, neither the problems of the consumption subjectivity, nor the problems of educational services themselves, are placed at the centre of researches and studies, although there are many works on marketing education. This is largely due to the fact that the issue of the educational service specifics as an object of consumption in marketing is considered almost from the very beginning to resolve the issue of “how to sell unsold”, legitimizing the criminal trade of documents on the education, how to transform the education as a transmission sphere of cultural values and knowledge into the sphere of a person’s trade and economic enslavement, how to turn a person into a material “capital” which is devoid of consciousness and will and serves the business interests. The options for solving this problem range here from introducing a special concept of “social marketing” to denying consumerism in the relations.
