Objective: The primary aim of this study is to explore the local wisdom, specifically the tetekon (rules), practiced by the Miduana indigenous people in their housing, livelihoods, and daily lifestyles. It also seeks to understand the process through which these values of local wisdom are passed down from the customary council to the younger generation in Indonesia. Theoretical Framework: The study is rooted in the understanding that indigenous communities like the Miduana people have unique traditional practices that govern their way of life. The concept of tetekon plays a central role in this community, influencing various aspects of their lives, from house construction to livelihood practices and overall life patterns. This framework considers the importance of inherited values within indigenous cultures and the role of the customary council and the community in preserving these traditions. Method: A descriptive method with qualitative characteristic data was employed for this research. Data collection involved observing daily life phenomena and conducting interviews with members of the customary council, local formal leaders, and indigenous peoples. Additionally, the study involved reviewing various library materials relevant to the phenomenon under study. Results: The findings reveal that the Miduana indigenous people actively implement tetekon in multiple aspects of their lives. Elders play a crucial role in exemplifying the preservation of local wisdom, evident in maintaining traditional house shapes, applying tetekon in rice cultivation, promoting positive thinking, and consuming healthy foods from nature. Furthermore, the transmission of local wisdom values occurs at both the family level, through interactional communication and dialogues between parents and children, and at the community level, via public communication in traditional rituals. Conclusion: This study concludes that the Miduana indigenous people's adherence to tetekon is a significant aspect of their cultural identity. The process of transmitting these values from older to younger generations is intricate, involving both familial and communal interactions. The persistent practice of these traditions among the younger generation highlights the dynamic nature of cultural transmission and the importance of indigenous wisdom in contemporary society.

Purpose of the study: This research aims to analyze the existence of Islamic law formalized into Indonesian law in the Reformation Era from 1999 to 2019 and explore whether it is legally stronger or weaker. Also tries to explore what Islamic law fields are formalized into Indonesian national law. Methodology: This research is qualitative research that is doctrinal law research with juridical analysis methods. The main source of research data is the law established between 1999-2019. Data is described systematically and objectively, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. Main Findings: During the Reformation Era 1999-2019, 17 Indonesian national laws contained formal Islamic law. The legal position of Islamic law became stronger in several fields, namely hajj (pilgrimage) and umrah management, management of zakat, implementation of special privileges Aceh Province, endowments (waqf) management, religious courts, state sharia securities, Islamic banking, halal product guarantee, marriage law and the existence of pesantren (Islamic boarding school). Applications of this study: This study is useful as a model example of a relationship between religion and state. Islamic law can be transformed into state law without changing the state principles. This research also provides a solution to Muslims (they are the majority in Indonesia) that Islamic law can be constituted as national law constitutionally and tolerant of other religious communities. Novelty/Originality of this study: The object of research is positivization in contemporary Indonesian governance that has been enacted between 1999-2019. In terms of time, this is very representative and updated.

This study aims to find out the roles of Dayah as an Islamic educational institution in providing understanding and awareness for Acehnese regarding the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh. This study uses a qualitative research method with a multi-case study approach. The locus of research is three Islamic boarding schools (dayah) in Aceh with three different models. Data was taken from documentation and in-depth interviews with students and teachers at related institutions. The sampling technique used a combination of purposive and snowball techniques. Data collection uses in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman. Triangulation techniques are used to ensure the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that dayah education has at least two main roles. First, the role of creating a society that can accept Islamic law properly. Second, the role of forming a government that can create Islamic Sharia regulations that follow the culture of the Acehnese. For public education, this can be channeled by transferring understanding from teungku dayah to teungku imum through the Aceh government as an intermediary. Dayah alumni can also help in terms of the role of public education with da'wah via behavior, speech, and writing. Practically, the dayah teacher plays a role in implementing Islamic law in four roles: teacher, practitioner of sharia, observer, and mentor. In conclusion, Islamic education in Aceh has two key roles: shaping society to follow Islamic law and adapting Sharia regulations to Acehnese culture. Recommendations include seeking guidance from qualified clerics, and stakeholders should prioritize their roles in achieving this. Future research on Aceh's Islamic law should consider local socio-religious and socio-cultural factors.
