Transfer of insecticide residues to food stored on or near plywood impregnated with organochlorine insecticides

Abstract: Formulations of aldrin and dieldrin have been used for a number of years to treat exposed timber components used in the construction of freight containers. The extent to which these insecticides migrate to foodstuffs stored on or near treated plywood has been examined under laboratory conditions and is reported here.
