Abstract:BACKGROUNDTranscatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is recommended in patients with severe aortic stenosis who have high surgical risk. However, in the pre-existing mechanical mitral valve prosthesis and natural pure aortic regurgitation, TAVR is relatively contraindicated.
