Transdermal Delivery of Drugs with Microneedles—Potential and Challenges

Abstract: Transdermal drug delivery offers a number of advantages including improved patient compliance, sustained release, avoidance of gastric irritation, as well as elimination of pre-systemic first-pass effect.
