Elizabeth Patricia Sangoquiza Chicaiza,
Stalin Javier Caiza Lema

Abstract: Introduction: Diaphragmatic weakness caused by mechanical ventilation includes many different alterations derived from the muscle inactivity during this process. Structurally, the diaphragm undergoes atrophy due to its lack of use.
