Transcriptional activity differentiates families of Marine Group IIEuryarchaeotain the coastal ocean

Abstract: Marine Group II Euryarchaeota (Candidatus Poseidoniales) are abundant members of marine microbial communities. They are thought to be (photo)heterotrophs that metabolize components of dissolved organic matter (DOM) such as lipids and peptides, but little is known about their transcriptional activity.
