“…There are hybrids, such as GCH4, that are resistant to the attack by E. flavescens due to the high wax content on the plant stems and leaves (Lakshmi et al 2005). Five accessions viz., RG-43, RG-631, RG-1621, RG-3037 and RG-3067, among 165 core set accessions representing diversity in the entire collection maintained at ICAR-Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad, India, exhibited resistance reaction against E. flavescens; oil content of these accessions was 46, 51, 51, 51, 52 %, respectively (Anjani et al 2018).
