Traffic Service Position System No. 1: Automated Coin Toll Service: Overall Description and Operational Characteristics

Abstract: Automated Coin Toll Service (acts) has recently been developed for use on Traffic Service Position System No. 1. acts automates the handling of most calls paid for at coin stations, gives time and charge quotations, and provides customer notifications. To accomplish this, a new microprocessor‐controlled subsystem is added to tsps. This subsystem generates announcements and monitors coin deposits.
