Trade effects of 1992 and the developing countries

Abstract: It is manufactured exports rather than agriculture and primary products which are the main targets of trade diversionary effects of 1992. Nevertheless, the Asian NICS, as the major exporters of manufactures from developing countries, might greatly benefit from the trade creation effects of the single market rather than being adversely affected by trade diversion.
