TP53 Abnormalities in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Exhibit a Disease Specific Profile: Meta-Analysis of 270 Mutations.

Abstract: TP53 mutations have been shown to occur in 5–40% of CLL patients depending on the clinical background (early stage/refractory disease). They are associated with a poor response to standard chemotherapy with alkylators and purine analogues and dismal clinical course.
