“…Tem se relatado que a infecção aguda na gravidez varia entre 0,06 a 1,4%, sendo que 15% das infecções intrauterinas resultam em morte fetal e 80% dos que nascem desenvolvem algum tipo de lesão tardia 26 . Quando é realizada a correlação de anticorpos IgM com os da classe IgG anti-T.gondii verificamos que nas amostras positivas para IgM uma grande parte apresentou altos títulos de anticorpos da classe IgG o que pode caracterizar infecção aguda, enquanto uma parcela possui títulos baixos destes anticorpos o que possivelmente pode caracterizar que a infecção esta se tornando crônica 27,28,29 .…”
