“…The half-life of this gastrointestinal exposure is roughly 5-10 hours (depending on the pesticide) and symptoms of irritation can be seen almost immediately following ingestion. In addition to ingestion, dermal absorption is another route for non-occupational exposures and accounts for 19-57% of the way the general population are exposed to pesticides (Blacker et al, 2010b).
