Toxicity and feasibility of vincristine, etoposide, and carboplatin alternating with vincristine, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide in children with advanced retinoblastoma in Guatemala

Abstract: Retinoblastoma is highly curable, with event-free survival (EFS) of greater than 95% in high-income countries. However, in lower middle-income countries, outcomes of EFS are 30%-60% due to delayed diagnosis and lack of resources resulting in extraocular disease.
