The limitation of damage caused by pests (plant pathogens, weeds, and animal pests) in any agricultural crop requires integrated management strategies. Although significant efforts have been made to i) develop, and to a lesser extent ii) combine genetic, biological, cultural, physical and chemical control methods in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies (vertical integration), there is a need for tools to help manage Injury Profiles (horizontal integration). Farmers design cropping systems according to their goals, knowledge, cognition and perception of socio-economic and technological drivers as well as their physical, biological, and chemical environment. In return, a given cropping system, in a given production situation will exhibit a unique injury profile, defined as a dynamic vector of the main injuries affecting the crop. This simple description of agroecosystems has been used to develop IPSIM (Injury Profile SIMulator), a modelling framework to predict injury profiles as a function of cropping practices, abiotic and biotic environment. Due to the tremendous complexity of agroecosystems, a simple holistic aggregative approach was chosen instead of attempting to couple detailed models. This paper describes the conceptual bases of IPSIM, an aggregative hierarchical framework and a method to help specify IPSIM for a given crop. A companion paper presents a proof of concept of the proposed approach for a single disease of a major crop (eyespot on wheat). In the future, IPSIM could be used as a tool to help design ex-ante IPM strategies at the field scale if coupled with a damage sub-model, and a multicriteria sub-model that assesses the social, environmental, and economic performances of simulated agroecosystems. In addition, IPSIM could also be used to help make diagnoses on commercial fields. It is important to point out that the presented concepts are not crop- or pest-specific and that IPSIM can be used on any crop.

ABSTRAKAdanya upaya penyelamatan hutan dan peningkatan nilai manfaatnya, pada saat ini mulai dilakukan pemanfaatan jasa lingkungan, salah satunya melalui kegiatan pariwisata alam. Taman Nasional Bukit Baka Bukit Raya sebagai kawasan konservasi telah dimanfaatkan sebagai kegiatan pariwisata alam dan salah satunya adalah pendakian Bukit Raya. Selain memilki dampak positif, kegiatan pendakian juga memiliki dampak negatif jika tidak memperhatikan daya dukung lingkungan jalur pendakian itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung daya dukung jalur pendakian Bukit Raya yang berada di Jalur kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghitung daya dukung fisik (PCC), daya dukung riil (RCC) dan daya dukung efektif (ECC) dengan rumus yang dikembangkan oleh Cifuentes (1992). Hasil perhitungan menunjukan nilai PCC di jalur pendakian Bukit Raya adalah 200 orang per hari, RCC sebannyak 15 orang per hari dan ECC jalur pendakian Bukit Raya belum bisa dihitung sebagai akibat belum adanya desain tapak yang berpengaruh terhadap fasilitas serta penunjukan petugas pengelola secara definitif. Kata kunci: Daya Dukung, Jalur Pendakian, Ekowisata, Taman Nasional, Bukit Raya.ABSTRACT Their efforts to save the forests and increase the amount of benefit, at this time began use of environmental services, one through nature tourism activities. Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park as a conservation area has been used as a natural tourism activities and one of them is climbing Bukit Raya. In addition to have a positive impact, climbing activities also had a negative impact if it does not pay attention to the environmental carrying capacity climbing lane itself. This study aimed to calculate the carrying capacity Bukit Raya hiking paths that are on the West Kalimantan. The method used in this research is to calculate the physical carrying capacity (PCC), the real carrying capacity (RCC) and the effective carrying capacity (ECC) with the formula developed by Cifuentes (1992). Calculation shows the value of PCC in Bukit Raya hiking trail is 200 people per day, RCC sebannyak 15 people per day and Bukit Raya ECC climbing path can not be calculated due to the lack of tread design that affect the facility and the appointment of management personnel definitively.

Background and Purpose: The standardisation and classification of managed events provide a legislative basis to distinguish events managed for tourism in their characteristics and quality. The systems approach to standardisation and classification of managed events is a unique, holistic view of event management quality and event organization in tourism. It enables a clear overview of a researched topic and provides adequate support to design and decision-making. In this paper, we explain the meaning of standardisation and classification for Slovenian legislation related to event management. We present the importance of a systems approach methodology for event categorization and classification as it relates to the quality of event management organization, the quality of staff, the quality of the event program and the quality of event services. Objectives: Provide an overview of events in tourism, related definitions and information gathered from scientific authors, which serves as current systems approach principles with which we want to achieve the desired results, positive changes in legislation; in our case-in the field of managed event quality for tourism through standardisation and classification of events on the national level in Slovenia. Method: A descriptive method and systems approach methods are fundamental methodological principles in our analysis. In the context of a systems approach, we used qualitative modelling and constructed causal loop models (CLD) of the legislative system of events and investments in the events. We also used context-dependent modelling (SD model) in a frame of systems dynamics. Results: We present the most appropriate solution to eliminate our problem or question about how to achieve high quality and unique events within event tourism and with event management, thereby creating added value to an event legislative system. We explain suggestions for achieving triple-bottom elements through well-designed quality standards and classification of events, which leads to an optimal categorization of events. Conclusion: From a systems point of view, event tourism processes, including event management, are systems consisting of people and technologies with the purpose of designing, producing, trading and deploying the idea of an event. It is necessary to transform the current Slovenian legislative system of events and prepare a document which standardizes and classifies events based on systems approach methodology.
