Considering forensic psychology’s varying stages of development across the world, this work briefly explores historical developments, the field of practice, training, licensing, legislation, and associated challenges in South Africa, the United States, and Canada. While there are numerous similarities, a few differences are evident. Among the common areas of practice, psychologists are involved in assessments to determine fitness (competency) to stand trial, criminal responsibility in adults, as well as assisting courts in making determinations on criminal responsibility in the case of children in conflict with the law. In South Africa, psychological assessments of sexual violence complainants with intellectual disability are also required by courts. Psychological intervention, research, and policy development work are also conducted in the three countries. Challenges appear in the intersection between psychology and the law, expectations of psychologists, and the inclusion of psychologists in evaluation panels in South Africa and Canada. It is clear that psychologists are playing an active role in the professional development of the field, research, and coordinating with legislative authorities in advancing forensic mental health and advocating for people with mental health problems. However, across the three countries, there is a need for continued focus on the broader issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion with respect to the forensic populations being served, and there has to be a concerted effort to address the psychosocial needs of marginalized communities.

Counseling psychologists have been at the forefront of social justice and advocacy efforts in the discipline of psychology. Despite these foci, few graduate training programs in psychology offer formal courses or training in advocacy, social justice, and public policy. To develop and fill a pipeline of professionals involved in social justice and advocacy efforts, graduate training programs in psychology must expose and prepare students to these areas. The purpose of the current paper is to describe how faculty within the professional psychology program at the University of Denver incorporate advocacy, public policy, and social justice education and training into their program. We describe how the program climate and curriculum were created to meet these training needs.

This study examines the mediating role of employee engagement and perceived organizational support on the effect of business intelligence, digital transformation and digital leadership on employee satisfaction within the Commercial Banking Sector in Jordan. The questionnaires were distributed to 276 employees of the Commercial Banking Sector in Jordan. This study employed partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM) and analysed the research hypotheses. The results found that business intelligence has significant and positive effect on employee satisfaction. While digital transformation and digital leadership have insignificant effect on employee satisfaction. However, the results showed that business intelligence, digital transformation and digital leadership have significant and positive effect on employee engagement and perceived organizational support. Moreover, the results indicated that employee engagement and perceived organizational support have partial mediating effect on the effect of business intelligence, digital transformation and digital leadership on employee satisfaction. notably, previous research found no relationship between the factors of interest and either employee job satisfaction or the value that businesses provide to their customers. Leaders in the digital space advocate for new ideas, teamwork, and easy access to data. By implementing the right digital technology, digital leadership can boost workplace innovation, efficiency, and productivity. By easing the process of change management, advocating for digital transformation, and making rational judgements, digital leadership helps businesses succeed. Employee performance, digital skill development, and company goal attainment are all positively impacted by digital leadership, according to the research. Leadership in the digital age is a shared and not just the leader's role due to the rapid pace of technological change.
