Towards modular analysis of tropical-cyclone structure: the boundary layer

Abstract: In the early 1970s, George Carrier and coworkers undertook a modular approach to modelling the internal thermofluid-dynamics of tropical cyclones of tropicaldepression-or-greater intensity.
