Towards Embodied Interaction for Geospatial Energy Sector Analytics in Immersive Environments

Abstract

Figure 1: We extend the immersive analytics tool ImAxes [3] to support geospatial visualisation, crucial to supporting analysis and forecasting in the energy sector. We support the standard visualisation elements and interactions from ImAxes (centre); introduce a geospatial map (left) that leverage the ImAxes interactions; and propose embodied operators (right) to support data transformations without leaving the immersive environment.
