Towards Development of Machine Learning Framework for Enhancing Security in Internet of Things

Abstract: An IoT system is a smart network that connects all items to the Internet and exchanges data using Internet Engineering Task Force established protocols. As a consequence, everything is instantly accessible from any place and at any time. The Internet of Things (IoT) network is built on the backbone of tiny sensors embedded in common objects. There is no need for human intervention in the interactions of IoT devices. The Internet of Things (IoT) security risk cannot be ignored. Untrusted networks, such as the I… Show more

“…He challenged those in power on one hand, yet worked with them on the other. The reason behind Al-Jawahiri's confrontation of others and his attempt to challenge them was due to jealousy and resentment from them, as well as his challenges being on various levels: challenging rulers, challenging time, and challenging death [67] [68].…”

“…In recent years, with the continuous development of the modern information industry and the rapid growth of large traffic consumable businesses, such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, e-commerce, and online gaming, there has been an increasing demand for high-speed and large-capacity communication among people. This trend is expected to pose a significant challenge to existing communication technologies [1][2][3][4][5]. In the field of free-space optical communication, multi-dimensional multiplexing technologies, such as wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM), polarization-division multiplexing (PDM), and time-division multiplexing (TDM), are commonly employed to enhance system capacity, along with advanced signal modulation techniques, such as quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), pulse position modulation (PPM), and multi-phase shift keying [6][7][8][9][10].…”

“…In recent years, graph neural networks (GNNs), that can model and analyze structured data given as graphs, have gained increased notoriety. GNNs offer a novel approach towards intrusion detection throughout the larger picture of IoT security by making use of the naturally graph-like architecture of IoT networks [13]. Networked devices in an IoT environment can display complex relationships and connections thanks to a subtype of deep artificial neural network techniques called GNNs.…”
