“…The observed increase in CAM use prevalence over time aligns with trends observed in national surveys conducted in various countries. 1 , 42 , 43 The factors associated with CAM use among diabetic patients in this study included patients’ psychological health, attitude toward the safety of CAM, belief in the synergistic effects of combining routine medications with CAM, and previous positive experiences with CAM.
