Towards a Galant Pedagogy

Abstract: [1.1] In recent years, there has been a growing scholarly interest in eighteenth-century Neapolitan partimenti and galant schemata on the one hand, and in the practice of teaching theoretical concepts to modern musicians through improvisation and model composition on the other.
