Toward the Globalization of Psychology. The Congresses Around the World (1974–1998)

Abstract

A fter half a century of existence, having overcome the rupture of a war and completed 17 meetings all over Europe, the now so-called International Association of Applied Psychology, heiress and trustee of the projects and accomplishments of the old "psychotechnic" society, approved a change of scenario and accepted the invitation from some colleagues on the American continent to celebrate a congress, the 18th, in Montreal (Canada). It was the beginning of an endless journey around the world, with psychology as its basic argument.
