SARS-CoV-2 virus is the major cause of viral disease, COVID-19 which is highly infectious, WHO did its roll out for coordination, policy and technical guidance. About 64.5% of the population globally have had one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Close to vaccines have been administered with 18.3 million daily. In low middle Countries, approximately 14.5% have received atleast a single dose. A number of researches have come up with vaccines to curb COVID-19 disease. A researches conducted among the exposed people -60 years and above, who are frontline workers, health care workers, persons with comorbidities. Different researches have been carried out in different cities like Quantitative data presented descriptively and qualitative, thematically. A number of factors dictated the willingness to take up the vaccine, these included confidence in the vaccine, more than personal factors of participants. The respondents revealed mistrust from most people both in developed and non-developed countries, believe in God’s protection and ignorance in vaccine development. On the other hand, peer pressure and effectiveness of the vaccination programmes among childhood diseases contributed to low uptake of the vaccine. Conclusion: attention ought to be given to factors promoting vaccine uptake and misconceptions should be expelled concerning the disease. Recommendations: Strengthen disease surveillance at all stages and regularly updating of COVID-19 data to national level by vaccinating counties, Counties are required to increase researches on more about the disease, use COVID-19 data for decision making in terms of curbing the disease and give refresher course on health care workers surveillance.

Background: Vaccination is a strategy for controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. After the vaccine is produced, the utilization of the vaccine becomes crucial. Objectives: The study aims to investigate the public attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination in Iran. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Iran from March 21 to July 6, 2021. The questionnaire collected attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccination and priorities for COVID-19 vaccination. Based on the formula for calculating the sample size to estimate the ratio, the sample size was approximately 715 people. A convenience sampling technique was used to select participants. Data were collected both online and face-to-face from individuals over 18 years old. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors predicting willingness to pay for vaccines. Results: About 46% of the participants stated that they would use the COVID-19 vaccine, and 36% of them stated that their use of the vaccine depends on the type and specifications of the vaccine. About 71% were willing to pay for a COVID-19 vaccine. The most important reason for not using the vaccine was "concerns about side effects of the vaccine" (44.9%). About 88% of respondents agreed that the COVID-19 vaccine should be free for everyone, and 56.6% favored that COVID-19 vaccination should be mandatory and everyone should be vaccinated. There was a significant relationship between the willingness to pay for the vaccine with educational status and the perceived risk of being infected with COVID-19 (%). Healthcare workers (31.4%) had the highest priority for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Conclusions: Most respondents were willing to receive and pay for the vaccine. The results provide useful information for decision-makers to identify individual and social values for a suitable vaccination strategy.

Background: Data related to COVID-19 are increasing daily; the data analysis of the COVID-19 registry can provide critical information to policymakers and researchers for planning. The poor user interface design of these systems leads to problems in interacting with them. The present study aimed to evaluate the usability of two national systems to record daily data related to COVID-19 patients throughout hospitals in Iran called the "Medical Care Monitoring Center" (MCMC) and the "Electronic System for Syndromic Surveillance of Infectious Diseases" (ISSS). Methods: The interface of the aforementioned systems was assessed using a heuristic evaluation (HE) method in this descriptive, cross-sectional study. Using Nielsen’s 10 usability principles, three trained evaluators identified problems and determined each system’s severity rates independently. Results: This evaluation identified 164 usability problems, including 59 issues in the "ISSS" system and 105 violations in the "MCMC" system. The highest number of ISSS system problems was related to "Consistency and standard" and "Flexibility and efficiency of use". The average severity of problems in this system varied from 2 concerning "Consistency and standards", "Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors", and "Help and documentation" to 3.6 concerning "Visibility of system status". The highest number of MCMC system problems was associated with "Help and documentation" and "Consistency and standards". The average severity of problems in this system varied from 2 to 3.28 regarding "Help and documentation" and "Recognition rather than recall", respectively. Conclusion: Errors may be decreased, data quality can be raised, and interactions can be enhanced by taking into account standards and guidelines for user interface design, such as the HE utilized in this work.
