Toward centrality determination at NICA/MPD

Abstract: Abstract. Geometrical properties of nucleus-nucleus interactions at various centralities are calculated for the NICA energy range. A modified version of the Glauber Monte Carlo simulation code has been used for the calculations. It is shown that the geometrical properties of nucleus-nucleus interactions at the energies 5 -10 GeV (NICA/MPD) and at energy 200 GeV (RHIC) are quite close to each other.
