This paper investigates the impact of readability on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) by exploring the relationship between enrollment numbers and readability in course descriptions, aiming at the "About" section. Out of the 4,514 MOOCs collected from Coursera from 2015 to 2021, this paper used only 3,195 MOOCS since the metrics for readability are mainly based in English. Numerous equations are modeled through an analysis of course attributes and the readability of the "About" section to examine the influence of various course characteristics, including course length, course content, instructors, and readability on enrollments. The study employs five readability metrics and their averages to assess readability in course descriptions. Notably, courses with more readable "About" sections experience higher enrollments, emphasizing the importance of clarity and transparency in course communication. In addition, the total number of videos, available subtitle options in different languages, experienced instructors, and being part of a specialization increase enrollment, while splitting a course into multi-module courses taught by multiple instructors does not attract enrollment.
