Totally asymptotically free trinification

Abstract: Motivated by new ideas about the Higgs mass naturalness problem, we present realistic TeV-scale extensions of the Standard Model, into the gauge group SU(3) L ⊗ SU(3) R ⊗ SU(3) c , such that all gauge, Yukawa and quartic couplings can be extrapolated up to infinite energy. Three generations of chiral fermions and Higgses are needed, as well as some extra fermion.

“…The Quantum Field Theory (QFT) part can have this property. Realistic TeV-scale extensions of the Standard Model (SM) can be asymptotically free [23,24], and it is not known whether the SM itself can be asymptotically safe, in a non-perturbative regime [25]. The gravitational coupling f 2 is asymptotically free.…”

“…In essence, this can fix the Higgs-to-gauge-boson mass ratio. So far, a concrete model building has not been satisfactory, as no unequivocally convincing model sufficiently similar to the standard model has been identified, though the search is ongoing, see, e.g., [33][34][35][36].…”
