Total Artificial Heart: A Retrospective Multiple-Case Analysis of Occupational Therapy in a Quaternary Hospital

Abstract

Date Presented 3/31/2017 A retrospective multicase study of functional outcomes was done with patients with an implanted total artificial heart. Results show improved function with occupational therapy provided postoperatively. Knowledge and evidence can be used to develop and implement interventions for this population.
