Torsional oscillations of an auger multifunctional conveyor’s screw working body with consideration of the dynamics of a processed medium continuous flow

Abstract: Keywords: Screw Amplitude Resonance ConveyorIntroduction. The aim of the article is a mathematical model of vibrations of working part of screw conveyer for transporting friable loads taking into account the changes of closeness of the processed environment, speed of circulation of screw, weight while appearing of the phenomenon of resonance. Materials and methods. It is recesrced the turning vibrations of spiral working part of screw multifunctional conveyer, which appeare as a result of action of processing … Show more

“…It results, on the one hand, in a certain increase in the lateral vibration amplitude of the screw and, therefore, in some increase in the dynamic stresses in it; but, on the other hand, it causes an increase in the grain mixture mixing rate. The latter contributes to the improvement of the separation process [28,29]. Thus, we should apply a complex approach to the resonance process of grain mixture transportation with separation.…”

“…The separation intensity greatly depends on the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the screw oscillations and a cylindrical body with holes (a sieve). It should be mentioned that technologically the last ones can be made variable, i.e., they can be made with holes of different sizes so that the same transporter will be able to separate grain mixtures from different grain crops [28,29].…”

“…For the research of the mathematical model of the system of the environment it is an elastic spiral working part which is based on combinations of principles of simultaneity of the vibrations in nonlinear mechanical systems [5]; the wave theory of the motion [6]; the basic ideas of the methods of the indignations [5,7], namely to the asymptotic method of nonlinear mechanics [5,8] and to the method of Van der Paul [9], which are adapted for the new classes of the mechanical systems. The problems of granular medium transportation along different surfaces have been considered on the basis of many hypotheses: from motion of the material points system along the surface (Lindner H. [10][11][12]) to the continuum [13][14][15][16][17][18] of zero (analog of liquid) or finite rigidity (analog of elastic body).…”
