Topology optimization of convective laminar heat transfer

Abstract: Abstract. The topology optimization of systems subject to a fluid flow shows a wide potential for designing optimal and innovative structures. The present works apply the concepts of shape optimization and shape derivative to laminar flows (Navier-Stokes) coupled with heat transfers.
