“…The results indicate that CLVO exhibits a very wide transmission range from 0.33 to 6.0 μm (Fig. 4a,b), compared to previously reported quaternary oxide crystals such as MgTeMoO 6 (0.36–5.2 μm) 29 , Cs 2 TeMo 3 O 12 (0.430–5.38 μm) 36 , Na 2 Te 3 Mo 3 O 16 (0.42–5.4 μm) 22, 37 , LiNa 5 Mo 9 O 30 (0.357–5.26 μm) 24 , β -BaTeMo 2 O 9 (0.5–5.0 μm) 38 , and Na 2 TeW 2 O 9 (0.36–5.0 μm) 39 . To evaluate the frequency doubling capabilities of RLVO and CLVO, SHG measurements were performed under a Q-switched Nd:YVO 4 laser ( λ  = 1064 nm) according to the Kurtz-Perry method 40 .…”

“…The transparent range above 70% transmittance falls within the range of 500 $5050 nm. Furthermore, the short-wavelength transmission cutoff is located at 415 nm (corresponding to 2.99 eV) and the IR absorption edge extends to approximately 5250 nm, revealing that Cs 2 TeW 3 O 12 owns a wide optical window of 415-5250 nm, which is comparable with that of other oxides in its class containing cations susceptible to SOJT distortions, such as β-BaTeMo 2 O 9 (0.4-5.4 μm) [17], Cs 2 TeMo 3 O 12 (0.43-5.38 μm) [20], BaTeW 2 O 9 (0.36-5.0 μm) [18] and Na 2 TeW 2 O 9 (0.36-5.0 μm ) [26].…”

“…It is obviously different in shape compared with the bulk Cs 2 TeMo 3 O 12 crystal which is isostructural with it. According to the morphology study of the Cs 2 TeMo 3 O 12 crystal, the crystal grown by using the [0001]-oriented seed would form a very regular shape with a higher growth rate, and the importance of growth conditions affecting crystal morphology is concentration4 seed orientation 4cooling rate [20]. However, in the growth of Cs 2 TeW 3 O 12 , the crystal can hardly be grown to a bulk one, whereas it inclined to form plateshape from different seeds with various orientations.…”

“…As can be seen, the Bi 2 Mo 2.66 W 0.34 O 12 is transparent up to 5200 nm and its ultraviolet absorption edge is at 475 nm, exhibiting a wide transmission range comparable to previously reported quaternary oxide crystals such as α-BaTeMo 2 O 9 (380 nm -5.53 µm), 20 β-BaTeMo 2 O 9 (500 nm -5.0 µm), 21 orthorhombic BaTeW 2 O 9 (360nm -5 µm), 22 Na 2 TeW 2 O 9 (360 nm -5.0 µm), 23 and Cs 2 TeMo 3 O 12 (430 nm -5.38 µm). 24 In addition, there is little difference between the transmittance along different directions.…”
