Abstract:In May, 2016 the Diet passed a law on the "Promotion of efforts to eliminate unfair discriminatory speech and behaviour against people originating from outside Japan", widely referred to as ヘイトスピーチ法 (Heito Supiichi Hō /Hate Speech Law).
