Tool profile design for the mold for machining the bush of cone screw seawater hydraulic pump

Abstract: Design method of the tool profile for machining the mold was found to facilitate the casting or extrusion of the bush of cone screw seawater hydraulic pump within this paper. Mathematical expression of the theoretical tool profile was established, as well as equation of the contact line between mold and tool surface, based on meshing theory and coordinate transformation theory.
