Toefl From a Communicative Viewpoint on Language Proficiency: A Working Paper

Abstract: This report examines the content characteristics of the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) from a communicative viewpoint based on current theory in applied linguistics and language proficiency assessment.
