Abstract: Background Electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) or electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) aerosolize an e-liquid composed of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) as humectants, flavoring chemicals, and nicotine.
