Abstract: in the Journal 1 rekindles a lingering ambivalence about 2 points: (1) whether or not one should study patients for microvolt T-wave alternans (MTWA) after discontinuing b-adrenergic blockade (BB); and (2) whether perturbations of the T-wave attributes, including T-wave amplitude, impact the magnitude of the MTWA.
