Abstract:BackgroundPolycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex reproductive endocrine disorder. It has highly heterogeneous clinical manifestations which are characterized by biochemical hyperandrogenemia, obesity, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, anovulation, and polycystic ovaries.
