Abstract:TITANITE-BIOTITE GRANITES OF THE UAUPÉS RIVER, RIO NEGRO PROVINCE, AMAZONAS STATE, BRAZIL. PART II: GEOCHEMISTRY AND PETROGENESIS. The Rio Uaupés Granite (RUG) is subalkalic, meta-aluminous cafemic, relatively rich in CaO, K 2 O, Rb, Zr, Nb and Y, with very high FeO,/ (FeO t +MgO) and K 2 O/Na 2 O ratios, and fall in the fieldof within plate granites of the NbxY and Rbx(YNb) plots.
