TITAN: Tile Timing-Aware Balancing Algorithm for Speeding Up the 3D-HEVC Intra Coding

Abstract: This paper presents the Tile Timing-Aware balancing algorithm (TITAN) for speeding up the 3D-High Efficiency Video Coding (3D-HEVC) video encoding. The design of the TITAN algorithm is based on the premise that the encoding time of tiles partitioning of neighbor frames are similar.
