Abstract:Tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) is indicated as an empiric therapy for refractory out-of-the-hospital cardiac arrest for suspected pulmonary embolism and myocardial infarction. Intracranial hemorrhage following TPA administration is a rare complication resulting in increased morbidity and mortality.
