Abstract: Background/Objectives: Anemia is a frequent multifactorial co-morbidity in end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) associated with morbidity and poor QoL. Apart from insufficient erythropoietin formation, iron deficiency (ID) contributes to anemia development.
