Tissue Engineering for Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Tracts

Abstract: The gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts share several similarities. Primarily, these tissues are composed of hollow structures lined by an epithelium through which materials need to flow with the help of peristalsis brought by muscle contraction.
