“…The spectra show symmetric modes of vibration A1g + 2B1g + 3Eg of tetragonal anatase phase identified at 142 (Eg), 196 (Eg), 396 (B1g), 512 (A1g) and 637 cm −1 (Eg). The observed band positions are in agreement with the previous reports for anatase phase [15,18,19]. Raman spectra of the films, crystallized at 1 h, 2 h In order to see the differences between the spectra more clearly, the full-widths at half-maximum (FWHM) of the lowest frequency Raman mode band are given in Table 1.…”

“…Raman spectra of the films, crystallized at 1 h, 2 h In order to see the differences between the spectra more clearly, the full-widths at half-maximum (FWHM) of the lowest frequency Raman mode band are given in Table 1. The FWHM of the main anatase peak (142 cm −1 ) increased as the time of crystallization increased from 1 to 2.5 h. As reported in the literature [15,19], this result indicates a decreasing in the particles size.…”

“…No peaks corresponding to anatase phase were observed. The anatase phase transforms to rutile phase completely at 700˚C, which is lower than 900˚C reported by Mathews et al [12] and higher than 500˚C reported by Hunsche et al [9] The average crystallite size of the TiO 2 thin films is estimated by the Scherrer's equation [19] as follows: D = 0.89λ/β cos θ, where D denotes the everage crystallite size of the TiO 2 thin films, λ = 0.15405 nm is the X-ray wavelength of CuKα, β is the width of the peak measured at half maximum intensity (FWHM) and θ is the Bragg's angle of the peak. The crystallite size of the samples T1, T2, T3, T5, T6, T7, T8 are 15 nm, 25 nm, 34 nm, 60 nm, 12 nm, 17 nm, 20 nm, respectively.…”

“…The photocatalytic plate prepared under mild conditions (non-calcination) facilitated the decomposition of MB under a lower light intensity, as compared to those of typical materials prepared with calcination (Table S2, Supporting Information). 28,29 The electrostatic adsorption of cationic dyes in the dark may contribute to the effective photodecomposition under light irradiation. The experimental results also suggested that the SiT-dien-plate may be useful for the decomposition of acidic InC.…”
