“…Seventeen adults with a clinical diagnosis of ASD according to DSM‐IV TR (American Psychiatric Association, 2000), the ADOS (Lord, Risi, Lambrecht, Cook et al, 2000) and the ASDI (Asperger Syndrome Diagnostic Interview, Gillber, Råstam, & Wentz, 2001) were recruited from Albert Chenevier Hospital in Créteil (see Table 1 for details). Sample size was based on previous successful employment of similar paradigms (e.g., temporal‐orienting paradigm: Correa et al, 2010; Griffin, Miniussi, & Nobre, 2002; constant‐FP paradigm: Bausenhart et al, 2008; Lawrence & Klein, 2013; timing effects on directional cueing: Girardi et al, 2013, 2015).
