Abstract:This paper proposes fine and fast discretization, which is based on the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method without a matrix exponential function. The proposed method is more accurate than the conventional discretization based on the first-order Pade approximation. Moreover, compared with that of the conventional method, the computational cost of the proposed method is very small. Although the Pade approximation is impossible to realize broadband real-time control, the FDTD method achieves the broadban… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
