“…Combining both data use training sessions and cultural humility training sessions could be a more efficient path for local public health systems to address health disparities while integrating data into the process. 20,32,45,46 Combining training sessions could also reduce the overall amount of training required of public health staff. This domain is also emphasized in the CDC's Public Health 3.0 framework,14 as well as in semistructured interviews with LHD leaders on facilitating factors that guide LHDs in transitioning from direct clinical service provisions to population-level interventions 45. In these frameworks and studies, community collaboration is described as engaging organizations in intervention development and implementation, surveying community members on their satisfaction with programs, and maintaining relationships with policy makers or boards of health, for example.…”

“…The Public Health 3.0 framework also indicates that “timely, reliable, granular-level (ie, subcounty), and actionable data should be made accessible to communities”25 (p4) for targeting SDOH and to build health equity. LHDs are increasingly using Public Health 3.0 as a means for driving their agency's approach to health equity, systems change, and population health improvement in their jurisdictions 26,27…”

“…Ultimately, we need to build and diversify the public health workforce for the current chronic threats we face and the emerging challenges we will inevitably face. 2 There is no way back to the reality we left behind, and the future we create depends on the choices we make today.…”
